The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role will partner with leadership to support a culture of engagement, productivity, and continuous improvement. Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates. Manage onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience. Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, issues, and concerns. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, coaching managers on performance improvement plans, goal-setting, and employee development. Training & Development: Identify training needs and facilitate programs to enhance employee skills and career development. Coordinate leadership development initiatives and succession planning. Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. HR Metrics & Reporting: Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover, employee engagement, and performance. Provide reports and analysis to management for informed decision-making. HR Projects: Lead or participate in HR initiatives and projects aimed at improving HR processes, enhancing employee engagement, and driving organizational change. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus). 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR generalist role, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering industry. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and regulations. Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and talent development. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
