Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized adaptive physical education programs that accommodate students' physical, cognitive, and developmental abilities. Assess students physical capabilities and design activities that enhance motor skills, coordination, and overall fitness. Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to integrate adaptive physical education into each students educational plan. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and educational teams. Ensure a safe and supportive environment that encourages student participation and achievement. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Certification or licensure in physical education, adaptive physical education, or related field. Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special education needs. Knowledge of adaptive physical education techniques, individualized education programs (IEPs), and relevant state guidelines. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that motivates students.
