A school district in Chester, Vermont, is seeking a part-time (.5 FTE) School Psychologist to support K-12 students throughout the academic year on a contractual basis. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments to identify students learning needs and recommend appropriate interventions. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and well-being. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in compliance with district and state regulations. Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist certification or license applicable to Vermont K-12 settings. Demonstrated experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school staff, families, and students. Ability to manage time efficiently and handle a part-time workload effectively.
