An exciting opportunity is available for Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to support K-12 students in a school setting. This position is a contract role for the 2025/2026 school year, offering a full-time schedule of up to 37.5 hours per week, with part-time candidates also being considered. The role is based in Belen, NM, serving at the district level to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services across various schools.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy assessment and intervention services to K-12 students. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide support to enhance students functional abilities and participation in school activities. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports. Participate in district-level meetings and professional development activities. Required Qualifications: Licensed or certified as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and organizational skills. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
