A full-time occupational therapist position is available to support elementary school students in a self-contained and resource setting. This contract role runs from August 7, 2025, through May 22, 2026, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities: Facilitate student participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities. Modify tasks or environments to meet individual student needs. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate. Prepare clear, thorough reports based on student assessments and observations. Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives and accommodations. Collaborate effectively with parents and colleagues to monitor students developmental progress and address support areas. Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for an Illinois state occupational therapy license. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
