Responsibilities include: Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of students developmental, sensory, and motor skills related to educational performance Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address unique needs, collaborating with educators and support staff Providing direct therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions accordingly, while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials appropriate for school-based practice Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred Strong understanding of RTI (Response to Intervention) and IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) requirements Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within a school calendar year schedule Location: Robstown, Texas K-12 public school setting This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students educational outcomes by providing specialized therapeutic support.
