This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for an Occupational Therapist seeking a flexible schedule within a K-12 school district setting in Columbia, SC. Serving as the sole OT for the district, you will provide district-wide support primarily to students in grades K-6, with one high school student on your caseload. This role offers a chance to engage in meaningful, school-based therapy with a manageable caseload of approximately 27 students.

Manage all occupational therapy caseload duties independently, as no COTA supervision is required. Participate in pre- and post-planning days surrounding the school year, ensuring thorough preparation and follow-up for student care. Utilize resources provided based on IEP requirements to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapy license in South Carolina is mandatory. Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy. Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy is preferred for effective integration within the school environment.
