Direct Hire Overview: AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is actively hiring
two (2) California-licensed Pharmacy Technicians
for
direct hire
roles within their Customer Care Call Center. This team is essential to supporting AHFs Pharmacy and Department of Medicine, providing compassionate, knowledgeable service to patients, clients, providers, and AHF employees. Schedule: Training Shift (MF):
8:30 AM 5:30 PM
Post-Training Rotating Weekday Shifts (MF):
6:00 AM 3:00 PM
6:30 AM 3:30 PM
7:00 AM 4:00 PM
7:30 AM 4:30 PM
8:30 AM 5:30 PM
9:00 AM 6:00 PM
10:00 AM 7:00 PM
Saturday Shifts (rotating, with 1 weekday off): 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (1 hr OT) 9:00 AM 7:00 PM (1 hr OT) Key Responsibilities: Answer inbound calls for AHF Healthcare Centers and Pharmacies
Assist patients with transferring prescriptions, scheduling, filing grievances, and general support
Act as a calm, empathetic point of contact for patients experiencing stressful situations
Provide support and guidance to providers and internal staff
Proactively provide feedback to improve customer service quality and team performance
Participate in internal training, events, and organizational initiatives
Adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment and support a diverse patient population
Ideal Candidate: Active California Pharmacy Technician License
(required)
National PTCB certification
required within 180 days of employment
High school diploma or GED
(minimum education requirement)
Must be flexible with rotating shifts, including early mornings and weekends
Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
Healthcare/pharmacy background highly valued
Interested Candidates: Please confirm: Active CA license status
Willingness to obtain PTCB within 180 days
