A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year, providing essential support to students in need of speech and language services. This contract position requires onsite work in Williamsburg, VA, a community conveniently situated about one hour southeast of Richmond, close to Newport News, and one hour northwest of Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to assigned student caseloads. Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students specific communication needs. Conduct evaluations assessing speech and language abilities to inform intervention plans. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Complete progress reports to monitor student development and adjust goals as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data and documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements. Preferred Skills and Experience: Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience delivering speech therapy services in a school setting. Strong knowledge of special education regulations and IEP development. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team.
