An opportunity is available for an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide specialized services within a high school setting. Duration: Contract from start ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Caseload: Approximately 140 students, supported by a team including another OT and COTA Population Served: High school students, grades 9-12 Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students within the specified age group Collaborate with educational staff and therapy assistants to support individual student needs Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that promote student independence and academic performance Maintain accurate and timely documentation to comply with federal and state regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and optimize student outcomes Desired Qualifications and Experience: Current certification as a COTA or licensed OT with school-based experience Strong understanding of occupational therapy practices in educational settings Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently, utilizing teamwork and resource management Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and school personnel Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment This position offers a meaningful opportunity to influence the educational and functional development of high school students.
