A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide essential nursing support in an elementary school setting in Monticello, NY. The role involves working with a young student managing Diabetes, supporting their health and safety throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage the care of a 4-year-old student with Diabetes, including reading insulin levels and managing an insulin pump Collaborate with classroom teachers and aides to ensure the students medical needs are met effectively and discreetly Provide daily health assessments and administer medications as needed Maintain accurate health records and comply with school health policies Respond promptly to any health emergencies or concerns within the school environment Qualifications and Experience: Valid LPN/LVN or RN license, preferably with pediatric or school nursing experience Comfortable managing insulin pumps and diabetes care protocols Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with educators and caregivers Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide compassionate care to young students Schedule and Location: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 2:55 PM Monticello, NY elementary school setting No bus riding responsibilities Benefits and Perks: Weekly pay with guaranteed hours Comprehensive health benefits and 401(k) package Supportive team environment including teacher and aide assistance during shifts This contract role spans the current school year and offers an impactful opportunity to support student health and learning.
