A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) is needed to provide comprehensive speech and language services in a K-12 school setting located in Saint Johnsbury, VT. This contract position spans the full academic school year, offering an opportunity to work closely with pediatric populations in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders Implement therapy sessions tailored to the developmental needs of children across K-12 grade levels Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular reports regarding student outcomes Supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as part of therapy delivery Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development Qualifications and Experience: Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare and educational settings Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) Familiarity with healthcare protocols as they relate to speech-language services Ability to collaborate effectively with school personnel and families Prior experience supervising SLPAs is highly desirable Location: Position based in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, within a K-12 school environment This contract role offers the chance to impact student communication development over a full school year while working in a supportive educational community.
