Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling services to elementary school students to support their social, emotional, and academic development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to identify student needs and develop appropriate interventions. Implement crisis intervention strategies and support students during challenging situations. Facilitate social skills groups and promote positive behavior initiatives. Maintain confidential student records and complete required documentation. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support planning. Qualifications: Valid counseling certification or relevant licensure. Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or similar setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop trusting relationships with students and staff. Knowledge of school counseling best practices and crisis management techniques. Familiarity with the developmental stages of children and related social-emotional issues.
