Key Responsibilities: Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans for students. Provide direct speech and language support to a caseload of approximately 20 to 40 students. Document student progress and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with educators and other support staff to foster a supportive learning environment. Participate in meetings and contribute to developing strategies that support student communication needs. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in grades 3 through 12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work collaboratively. Familiarity with school-based therapy services and documentation. Location and Duration: Position based in Pell City, Alabama. Contract term: August 1st through May 21st. Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week.
