Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive learning environments Utilize specialized instructional strategies and behavioral interventions to support student growth and development Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification or licensure Experience teaching students with special needs across K-12 grade levels Strong knowledge of special education laws, guidelines, and best practices Ability to design differentiated instruction and adapt curriculum materials Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams Patience, compassion, and dedication to student-centered learning Location: Burnsville, Minnesota This contract position spans the normal school year, providing an excellent chance to impact the education of students requiring specialized support.
