We're seeking an experienced DOP to lead operations within a highly respectedhospital in Juneau, AK. This is a travel contract with strong potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Job Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Travel(Non-taxed stipends provided each week for housing and meals).
Duration: 13-week Contract to Hire
Duties & Responsibilities: Provide overall leadership of the pharmacy department
Oversee personnel, scheduling, and staff development
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and hospital regulations
Manage departmental budget and purchasing
Drive operational efficiency and uphold patient safety standards
Ideal Candidate: Current + recent hospital DOP experience
Alaska pharmacist licenseor willingness to obtain it (process takes 45 weeks, and no law exam required).
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage compliance, operations, and staff
