An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive services for the 2025-2026 school year at two K-12 educational sites, including elementary and preschool levels, in Hickory, NC. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week contract role offers a hands-on position focused on pediatric care within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy and support services to K-12 students, focusing on pediatric needs. Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility and needs. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, collaborating with educators and families. Maintain thorough documentation and reporting using ECATS and Medicaid systems to ensure compliance and facilitate funding. Prefer candidates able to work onsite to enhance service delivery and collaboration. Qualifications: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) with relevant pediatric, healthcare, and school experience. Experience with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in school or healthcare settings is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills for accurate recordkeeping and interdisciplinary teamwork. Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites effectively.
