Location: State College, PA
Schedule: Variable days and afternoons, primarily 8-hour day shifts
Systems: Meditech
Key Responsibilities: Enter and review patient medication orders with accuracy and clinical appropriateness
Dispense medications in a timely and precise manner
Provide accurate and timely drug information to healthcare providers
Document monitoring and interventions using clinical surveillance and pharmacy systems
Oversee sterile compounding operations, including high-risk and cytotoxic preparations
Prepare narcotic infusions and chemotherapy agents
Perform drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults per protocol
In ambulatory care settings, contribute to medication management through recommendations or collaborative practice agreements
Qualifications: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD required
PGY1 residency or at least 3 years of current clinical experience
Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain
