A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to cover a maternity leave from September to December at an early childhood school in Jersey City, NJ. This contract position involves working 35 hours a week with Pre-K students.
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below. Responsibilities include: Providing speech therapy services to an average caseload of 35 students Conducting speech and language evaluations Writing detailed reports based on evaluations and therapy progress Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate on student goals and accommodations Qualifications: Valid Speech/Language Specialist NJ Certification (#3462) CCC credential in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in healthcare and school settings Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently while maintaining detailed documentation This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive early childhood environment focused on developmental growth.
