South Lake Tahoe, CA Overview: A 100-bed hospital in South Lake Tahoe is seeking a Travel Pharmacist to join their inpatient pharmacy team. This assignment offers the opportunity to support a well-run hospital pharmacy while enjoying the flexibility of a travel contract. The role involves providing full inpatient staffing support in a collaborative hospital environment using EPIC and Pyxis systems. Responsibilities: Perform inpatient order verification and clinical review
Support daily pharmacy operations and inpatient workflows
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to optimize medication therapy
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and patient safety in all aspects of dispensing
Requirements: Active California Pharmacist License
At least 1 year of recent inpatient/hospital experience
Availability for a full-time schedule (4x10s)
