An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting located in Dover, DE. This position is a contract role for the current school year (CSY), offering a chance to make a significant impact on the educational journey of students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities.
Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with parents and multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure academic growth and social development.
Maintain detailed records of student performance and communicate regularly with families and support staff.

Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for elementary education.
