A full-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary-level school in North Charleston, SC, serving the Charleston County area. This contract role is ideal for a new psychologist seeking to gain valuable experience and make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting over the course of the school year.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning needs and behavioral concerns
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support interventions
Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making for student success
Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
Experience or strong interest in serving elementary school students
Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret psychological data
Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and educational staff
Commitment to fostering positive and inclusive school environments
