A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist to support the needs of students at an elementary school in Battle Ground, WA. This role is ideal for a skilled PT professional who is passionate about working with children in an educational setting and aims to promote their physical development and well-being throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals with educational objectives. Provide direct therapy services to students to improve mobility, coordination, balance, and motor skills. Monitor student progress and update treatment plans accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations for student care. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student performance and adaptations. Desired Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials appropriate for practice in Washington State. Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between students, families, and educators. Ability to adapt therapy techniques to fit the diverse needs of elementary-age children. Knowledge of special education laws and regulations is a plus.
