An exciting opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide school-based support from March through June. This contract position involves working 7 hours per day in a dynamic educational setting, assisting Occupational Therapists (OTs) across elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Key Responsibilities: Assist OTs in delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to students needs Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy plans Adapt strategies to suit various age groups and educational environments Desired Qualifications: Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience or familiarity working within school settings, supporting diverse student populations Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping students succeed in an academic environment Location:This position is based in San Bernardino, CA, providing a variety of experiences across different school levels.
