Knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and behavioral interventions. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Location: Elementary School in Norwalk, Connecticut. Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and observations to identify student needs. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide counseling support. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create positive learning environments. Assist with crisis intervention and implement behavioral strategies to support student success. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations.
