Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and support staff. Collaborate with educators to ensure accessible learning environments and equal participation opportunities. Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct while supporting student needs. Adapt interpreting techniques to meet changing classroom dynamics and individual student requirements. Qualifications: Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with certification preferred. Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with elementary-age children. Strong understanding of the needs of deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced school environment.
