Travel Inpatient Pharmacist
plays a vital role in ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based medication therapy for hospitalized patients. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication outcomes, support transitions of care, and promote best practices in clinical pharmacy. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and dispense physician-ordered medications for inpatients. Provide clinical consultation and medication therapy management. Monitor drug therapy for efficacy, side effects, interactions, and appropriateness. Educate patients and staff on proper medication use. Participate in interdisciplinary care teams and clinical rounds. Uphold all federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding pharmacy practice. Required: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree. Current California pharmacist license in good standing. 1+ year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience. Preferred:
PGY1 Residency or equivalent clinical experience. Familiarity with Cerner or other hospital EMR systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Assignment Highlights: Travel/contract assignment with potential for extension. Housing/travel stipends available. Full-time hours with weekly pay.
