Position Overview
We are seeking a
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
to provide
onsite support
for one of our Occupational Therapists in
Tacoma, WA . This is a
full-time position (37.5 hours/week)
running
ASAP through June 16, 2026 . The role involves working under the supervision of an OT to serve
elementary students (K-5) , including those with significant disabilities. Key Responsibilities
Deliver
occupational therapy services
under OT supervision
Support students with
fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure student progress
Qualifications
Active Washington COTA license
(Required)
Must be
fingerprinted through OSPI
Previous
school-based experience preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Compensation for this position ranges from $30 to $40 per hour. We pay for direct and indirect services. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
