An experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school-based expertise is needed to provide essential support during a maternity leave assignment within a K-12 educational setting in Acworth, GA. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with middle school students, managing a caseload of approximately 45 students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students in compliance with educational and therapeutic standards. Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and implement individualized therapy interventions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting. Document student progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Manage a caseload primarily focused on middle school students, with potential adjustments as needed.
