A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support elementary and early childhood education programs in Sterling Heights, MI. This part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, offers the chance to contribute to the academic and emotional development of students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade during the upcoming school year.
Key responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations, managing Multidisciplinary Evaluation Teams (METs), completing Review of Existing Evaluation Data (REEDs), and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with educational regulations while providing critical insights to support student success.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience conducting evaluations, METs, and REEDs within elementary and early childhood settings
Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and staff
Ability to work independently and manage a part-time schedule effectively
