Key Information: Location: Birmingham, AL Setting: K-5 Elementary School Duration: Contract for the current school year (approx. 8/6/2025 to 5/23/2026) Caseload: 40-60 students primarily from the special education population Required Credentials: Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Alabama with CCC credentials preferred Responsibilities: Delivering individualized speech-language therapy services to students with special needs Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation Participating in team meetings and providing input to support student success Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Alabama state licensure Experience working with K-12 students, particularly special education caseloads, is highly desirable Strong communication and organizational skills This position is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic school environment, supporting students communication development and academic achievement throughout the school year.
