Richmond Unified School District is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support K12 students with a wide range of physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges. This full-time position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide services aligned with IEP goals and student needs across multiple school sites. Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students referred for OT services
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide direct and consultative OT services in school settings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents
Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
Support students in accessing curriculum and building independence
Qualifications:
Valid California Occupational Therapy License (OTR/L)
NBCOT Certification
Previous school-based OT experience preferred (K12)
Ability to manage diverse caseloads across multiple age groups
Strong communication and organizational skills
Schedule & Work Setting:
MondayFriday, full-time (approx. 37.5 hours/week)
Traditional academic calendar: mid-August to early June
On-site at multiple school locations within the Richmond area
