Key Responsibilities: Administer special education assessments across grades K-12 Assist with case management to ensure compliance with district and state regulations Collaborate with district staff to maintain proper documentation and testing protocols Support the districts compliance efforts without classroom teaching responsibilities Qualifications: Valid Connecticut K-12 Special Education teaching license required Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 preferred Strong knowledge of special education laws, testing procedures, and Danielson Framework for teaching is an advantage Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills Position Details: Location: Jewett City, Connecticut, K-12 school setting across three schools on one campus Contract Duration: 2025-2026 school year (CSY contract) Type: Contract position focused on testing and compliance Benefits and Compensation: Hourly pay range of $37 to $47, based on experience and qualifications Health, dental, and vision insurance offered 401(k) retirement plan available Weekly pay schedule Qualified candidates licensed in Connecticut are encouraged to apply promptly to be considered.
