This part-time Physical Therapy (PT) position supports students in a K-8 school setting within Lynn, MA, with service delivery across various campuses located in Lawrence, MA. The role focuses on providing onsite PT services to a caseload of approximately seven students during the academic school year, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 17, 2026. Travel between campuses is required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below. Key responsibilities include: Delivering PT services aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to schedule and participate in IEP meetings during assigned workdays Utilizing available PT equipment and adapting interventions to meet student needs; students do not currently require wheelchairs or adaptive technology Documenting services and progress through the ESPed IEP platform Complying with all required screenings, including fingerprints and CORI checks Qualifications and experience desired: Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts Experience working with school-aged children (K-8) in an educational setting preferred Ability to travel between multiple school sites during the workweek with flexibility in scheduling between 8 AM and 3 PM Comfortable working with students who do not receive adapted physical education services Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with school staff and families Work schedule and location: Approximately 10 hours per week, flexible days between Monday and Friday based on team coordination Services provided onsite at multiple public school campuses in Lawrence, MA Mileage reimbursement for travel between school sites included This role requires completion of mandatory background checks. Additional details regarding student diagnoses and caseload will be provided upon hire.
