A full-time School Psychologist position is available serving K-12 students in a supportive school environment in Elk River, MN. This contract role spans the entire school year, offering an opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and families to promote positive educational and emotional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to identify students needs and eligibility for special education services.
Collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to support student well-being.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute data-driven insights.
Implement preventative programs to address learning and behavioral challenges.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with assessment tools and special education regulations.
