Job Type: Contract, School Year (August 2025 June 2026) Grades Served: K-12 (Primarily elementary students, with some high school students) Role Overview: This position offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload of approximately 28 students, primarily in elementary grades, with some high school students included. The role focuses on delivering speech and language assessment and therapy services within a school setting. Collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams is essential to enhance student communication outcomes and academic success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Provide direct speech-language therapy tailored to student goals and abilities Collaborate regularly with teachers and support staff to facilitate accommodations and modifications Track student progress and revise interventions as needed Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to goal setting and service delivery plans Offer resources and guidance to parents and caregivers to support communication development Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in California Experience working with school-aged children preferred, especially within elementary settings Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Familiarity with IEP processes and educational compliance requirements Benefits and Perks: Competitive hourly compensation Scheduled school hours aligned with academic calendar, including vacations Guaranteed hours throughout the contract period If you are passionate about making a difference in students lives through speech-language services and meet the qualifications above, we encourage you to apply.
