This opportunity serves as a Middle School Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher with a caseload of 28 students. Key responsibilities include delivering specialized curriculum and skill development, conducting assessments, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and participating in IEP meetings. Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff are essential for the success of this role. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching credentials Experience working with middle school students in an RSP setting Proficiency in IEP development and compliance with special education laws Ability to implement individualized instructional strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Responsibilities: Develop and deliver tailored educational programs aligned with students IEP goals Conduct formal and informal assessments to monitor progress Write clear, comprehensive IEPs and lead annual IEP meetings Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with special needs in a supportive educational environment.
