An opportunity is available for an ESL teacher to support English Learners in a K-12 school setting in Nashville, TN, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers a structured schedule and the chance to positively impact the academic progress of approximately 15 students with diverse language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted ESL instruction tailored to individual and small-group student needs, enabling language development and academic success.
Adapt existing curriculum to create differentiated and scaffolded lessons that make grade-level content accessible to English Learners.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including multimedia and technology tools, to engage students with different language proficiencies and learning styles.
Collaborate with general and special education staff to ensure consistent support and alignment of educational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
Valid ESL endorsement for K-8 in Tennessee.
Experience working with English Learners across multiple proficiency levels.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
