Full-time, 40 hours per week, with opportunities for additional pay through tutoring, field trips, and other activities Contract Duration:
Current School Year (CSY) Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective English Language Arts instruction to 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students Develop lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and student needs Collaborate with staff to support student academic growth and social-emotional development Participate actively in school events, field trips, and tutoring opportunities where applicable Maintain accurate records and communicate with parents and administration as needed Qualifications: PELSB licensure, Tier 1 to 4, with a valid endorsement in Middle Level English (ELA) Experience teaching middle school English (grades 6-8) preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learner levels and needs This is an onsite role requiring immediate availability as interviews are underway.
