Strategic Leadership and Commercial Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the US launch strategy; set clear launch milestones; build business cases; oversee readiness activities including brand planning, go-to-market tactics, stakeholder mapping, and demand forecasting; continuously improve forecasting models with new data; analyze data and insights to inform commercial decisions and identify opportunities; share knowledge to elevate commercial capabilities. Sales & Marketing Execution: Build and lead a lean, high-performing team; directly manage a lean sales team and participate in field visits; establish sales objectives and robust reporting/CRM; develop deployment plans and compensation strategy; align digital initiatives with field operations; support stakeholder mapping and tactical planning; establish initial commercial infrastructure and ensure compliant US CMLR processes; oversee marketing agency collaborations; develop a market research strategy and manage vendors; build relationships with HCPs, treatment sites, cross-functional partners, and vendors; hire and manage commercial partners and vendors. Compliance and Excellence: Champion compliance with promotional, privacy, and regulatory guidelines; leverage SP operations knowledge to ensure proper product use and provide prescriber-facing information; model operational excellence and adopt innovative approaches to field and commercial operations. Experience and Skills

Direct experience launching rare disease/orphan drugs in the US. 10+ years of progressive commercial experience in pharma/biotech, with leadership or sales management roles; proven ability to deliver results in resource-constrained, entrepreneurial environments. Proven track record building and scaling high-performing commercial teams in rare disease. Experience partnering with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, and Patient Services to deliver integrated launch strategies; strong knowledge of US healthcare, patient access programs, reimbursement, payer engagement, and market dynamics for rare diseases. Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and complex market research and marketing projects. Skills

Ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on execution; translate strategy into actionable plans. Inspirational leadership, coaching, recruitment, retention, and talent development; high performance and collaboration. Data-driven decision making, forecasting, and measurement of outcomes. Deep understanding of market dynamics, patient journey, pricing, and commercial modeling for rare diseases. Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities; manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; stakeholder engagement with HCPs, KOLs, internal teams, and external partners. Experience designing compliant commercial operations with best-in-class processes and technologies. Proficiency with CRM systems, digital marketing, data platforms, and tech-enabled field execution. Thorough knowledge of US promotional, privacy, and regulatory guidelines in rare disease commercialization. Seniority level
