This position offers the opportunity to work as an Educational Diagnostician within a dynamic K-10 school setting in Austin, Texas. The role involves conducting assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development. Working onsite three days per week, you will collaborate closely with a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP), providing valuable insights that inform individualized educational planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-10.
Collaborate with the LSSP to interpret assessment data and contribute to student support strategies.
Communicate findings effectively to educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment results.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid Educational Diagnostician Endorsement (EC-12) required.
Experience working with K-10 students within a school environment.
Strong understanding of assessment tools and techniques pertinent to educational diagnostics.
Ability to collaborate effectively with school psychologists, educators, and families.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
