This facility is a well-established urology practice serving the Eureka community with comprehensive urological care. The facility features a 6-bed department providing specialized urological services in a supportive clinical environment with a trauma level 3 designation.
Opportunity:
Board Certified/Board Eligible - Urology
Job Details:
• Locum tenens position seeing 16+ patients per shift in clinic setting
• Active fluoroscopy certification required - will be verified online prior to submission
• Work schedule: M-Thurs (8am-5pm) and Friday (7:30am-5:00pm) - times may vary
• Call coverage 7-10 days per month including weekends
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime after 9 hours (must be approved)
• Specific coverage dates needed starting November 2025 through June 2026
• Must have active California medical license - no IMLC accepted
• Board certification or truly board eligible required
• Must have 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in urology specialty
• ACLS certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
• Required skills: general adult urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy
• Additional required skills: radical cystectomy w/ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound w/biopsy, TRUS biopsies
• Preferred skills: pediatric urology, adrenalectomy, fertility work-up, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, ESWL
• Lodging allowance of $3500 per month approved
