Schedule & Coverage:
- Scheduled Clinical Hours plus Call
- Hours per Shift: 8 to 9.5 hours (day), 24-hour call coverage on weekends
Description :
- Practice setting includes both outpatient and inpatient.
- Board status requires certification to be obtained within 5 years of residency.
- Trauma level is III.
- Time to credentialing is approximately 60 to 90 days.
- Schedule runs Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with hours that may vary.
- Friday schedule is 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with hours that may vary.
- Call coverage includes 7 to 10 days per month, including weekends.
- Week in clinic includes day clinic hours Monday through Friday with night call.
- Weekends include 24-hour call.
- Mandatory skills include general urology, adult urology, and pediatric urology (preferred).
- Required surgical procedures include advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and adrenalectomy (preferred).
- Required diagnostics and procedures include renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, and TRUS biopsies.
- Preferred diagnostics and procedures include fertility work-up, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy.
Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent hospital clinical activity in Urology
License : Active State Medical License
Certifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible, ACLS Certified, Active Fluoroscopy Permit
Must-Have : General Urology skills, Adult care, Pediatric experience preferred
