Food Service Worker
Location: Lehi, UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: Flexible shifts available–Monday through Friday (morning or afternoon) or Monday through Thursday (evening)
Pay/Salary: $14.00 /Hour
Summary
As a Food Service Worker, you play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for students, staff, and guests. Your work directly contributes to the success of the Mountainland Grill and campus catering events, ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared and served with care. In this role, you will help craft delicious dishes, operate kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment—all while delivering excellent customer service. Your dedication helps bring people together through food, making a meaningful impact on the campus community.

What You’ll Do:
Responsibilities of the Food Service Worker include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare a variety of fresh and high-quality meals for both daily service and special events.
• Assemble and present dishes for college functions, ensuring a professional and meticulous approach to detail.
• Safely use kitchen tools and machinery, including fryers, stoves, mixers, and choppers.
• Provide friendly and efficient service at the Mountainland Grill, enhancing the dining experience for all guests.
• Support the Food Services Manager by tracking stock levels and helping with inventory management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary food preparation area, following all food safety guidelines.
• Pay close attention to detail in food presentation, safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
• Education Requirements: A high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Certifications: A Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• Experience: Previous experience in food preparation or customer service is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrates strong attention to detail, particularly in food safety and sanitation.
