Customer Service
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to support our parts sales operations within the process control industry. This role suits someone with a strong technical foundation and excellent communication skills who can work independently while effectively interfacing with clients. Our team works closely with clients across many facets of process control, providing tailored solutions and responsive support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, building client relationships, and contributing to sales initiatives with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Generate quotations for replacement parts and kits based on customer requirements.
- Learn and interpret product Bill of Materials to support accurate quoting.
- Drive sales through consistent customer engagement and follow-up.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers and prospects regarding quote status and product offerings.
- Identify opportunities to expand product and service scope during customer interactions.
- Track and follow up on open opportunities and quotations to ensure timely closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and resolution.
- Interface with vendors, principals, and customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to support parts initiatives and sales strategies.
- Convert quotes to orders and generate purchase orders for suppliers.
- Assist Business Operations in managing inventory levels to meet customer demand.
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with enterprise-level clients’ maintenance departments.
- An interest in learning the process control business that supports industrial manufacturing.
- High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Ability to solve problems, or experience solving problems by working with others either at school or work.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Motivation to achieve results and work towards success.
- Experience collaborating with others at work or school recently.
- Attention to detail.
