Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team. This role is pivotal in architecting and scaling cloud infrastructure that powers our innovative digital freight and fuel solutions. You’ll lead technical initiatives, make strategic architectural decisions, and contribute hands-on across cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using GCP and Terraform.
Lead cloud architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
Ensure security compliance and implement best practices across cloud environments.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Required Skills & Technologies
Cloud Platforms: GCP (preferred), AWS, Azure
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
CI/CD Tools: Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
Scripting & Programming: Bash, Python
Security & Compliance: Cloud security best practices
DevOps & Platform Engineering: Monitoring, automation, and reliability engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience in software or cloud engineering, with senior -level responsibilities.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
Familiarity with the tech stack:
Backend: Python, PostgreSQL
Frontend: Node.js, React, TypeScript, GraphQL
Data: BigQuery, dbt
Monitoring: GCP Monitoring
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
