Full job descriptionNow Hiring Industrial Sanitation Technicians - All Shifts Available!Job Summary:Sanitation Technicians are a key and essential part of our baking operations. They are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing heavy baking equipment, production lines, and facility areas to maintain a clean, safe, and food-safe environment. This role directly supports food safety, product quality, and efficient production by preventing cross-contamination and following all sanitation and safety standards.Pay and Work Schedule:Sanitation Technicians are also required to work every Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.Team members will receive two days off during the week. Flexibility is required for schedule changes, including holidays or additional shifts as needed.Work Schedule and Pay1st ShiftHours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMPay: $14.00 during training / $15.00 once fully trained2nd ShiftHours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMPay: $14.50 during training / $15.50 once fully trained3rd ShiftHours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AMPay: $14.75 during training / $15.75 once fully trainedKey Responsibilities:Cleans and sanitizes processing equipment and processing facilities.Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures.Follow all company Sanitation SOPs (SSOP) for cleaning equipment and facility.Perform pre- inspection of clean equipment before requesting supervisor approval.Complete all required sanitation and SQF documentation.Washes and maintains cleaning carts and tools.Maintains all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, foamers, cleaning equipment and tools.Performs other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor.Quality AssuranceFollow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet SQF, regulatory, company, and customer requirements.Adheres to all company GMPs and Safety policies.Health & SafetyFollow company safety policies and practices fostering a safe workplace and environment for ourselves and our co-workers.Work safely with the chemicals used in the cleaning process and ensure all chemicals are used at proper concentrations following chemical handling SSOP.Wear appropriate person protective equipment (PPE) while perform cleaning tasks.RequirementsEducation and/ or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.Sanitation experience preferred.Must be able to follow instructions in English.Must be able to read, write and speak English.Self- DirectedTime Management controlMust have strong oral and written communication skills.Follows all GMPs, Food Safety, SSOPs per assignments.Must be able to use Step ladder/LadderOther Skills and Physical DemandsMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with minimal supervision.Ability to work with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting in safe manner.Ability to interact professionally with honesty and respect towards Management, coworkers.Required to work 3rd shift, though hours may change due to demand, including weekends, or holidays.Able to lift-up to 50lbsJob Type: Full-timePay: From $14.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftEvery weekendMorning shiftNight shiftOvertimeExperience:Industrial cleaning: 1 year (Required)Work Location: In person
