Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to provide direct support to the HMX-1/DISA Base Operations Support (BOS) team. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of administrative duties in a sensitive and fast-paced environment requiring discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This role requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and the ability to interface effectively with government, military, and contractor personnel.
Duties
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties including scheduling, correspondence, filing, recordkeeping, and data entry.
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and arrange travel as required.
- Draft, review, and edit reports, memos, and other documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support office operations by ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Assist with tracking and monitoring action items, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with government security protocols.
- Provide administrative support to management, staff, and visiting personnel.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (mandatory).
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA Security+ Certification (strongly preferred).
- If certification is not currently held, must be able to obtain Security+ within the required timeframe.
- Previous administrative support experience in a military, government, or defense contracting environment.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) protocols and procedures.
