Job Summary: On-Call - Armed Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols of the premises and maintain a strong security presence during assigned shifts
• Monitor building access points to ensure entry is restricted to authorized individuals
• Respond promptly to calls for assistance or incidents as needed
• Identify and remove trespassers or individuals engaging in unauthorized activity
• Monitor and operate surveillance systems and report any irregularities
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Accurately document daily activities and security incidents in detailed reports

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience as a Security Guard or in a related field is preferred
• Solid understanding of public safety practices and emergency response protocols
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional composure during high-pressure situations
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written communication skills; must be able to produce clear, concise incident reports
• Proficient with surveillance and access control equipment
• High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism
• Flexible availability for varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays on short notice
