Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Full-Time Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with 1-year-olds and a strong understanding of early childhood development. You will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Provide attentive and responsive care to meet the individual needs of each child.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
Monitor and document children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians regularly.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages curiosity and exploration.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Adhere to all daycare center policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1+ to 2 years of experience
  • Age Groups: Infant , Toddler
  • High school degree
  • First Aid Training, CPR Training, Certified Teacher, Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development Associate (CDA)

Qualifications:
Must be certified to work as an early childhood educator in the State of Delaware.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field strongly preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers, particularly 1-year-olds.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Ability to lift and carry children and perform physical activities as needed.
